TKJ's picks for play-in games: Clippers will upset T-Wolves

Here's my NBA picks for the play-in games:

Brooklyn over Cleveland: Come on KD and Co. Time to get beat by the Celtics!

LA Clippers over Minnesota: Upset alert. Because why not?

Atlanta over Charlotte: No rung again this year for MJ.

New Orleans over San Antonio: No Zion, no problem for the Pelicans.

Yankees Nation: Yankees lose again - this time to the Jays

The New York Yankees lost 3-0 to the Blue Jays because their offense was horrible.

Taillon took the loss. He went 5 innings, had 6 K's and 0 walks. I expected much worse to be honest, so I'm OK with him and the pitching.

However, the offense was awful. Gallo had two singles and Torres and Hicks had a single each. The offense made this Manoah guy look like a world beater.

Oh well, there's always tomorrow. The 2-2 Yankees play the Jays again, the second of a four-game series.

TKJ's Picks: Nole and TKJ are back with wins!

TKJ's tennis picks are back.

Here's my picks for Tuesday in Monte Carlo:

Evans d. Bonzi in 2

Martinez d. Humbert in 3

Ruusuvuori d. Otte in 3

Sonego d. Ivashka in 2

Cressy d. Djere in 3

Fritz d. Catarina in 2

Musetti d. Paire in 3: The youngster is starting to play better on his fave surface.

Nole d. Fokina in 2: This will be two tight sets, but never in doubt. Nole will not lose in his first match in a while.

Goffin d. Lehecka in 2: I thought Goffin was washed up, but suddenly he's alive again on clay.

Karatsev d. Rune in 3: This should be a good one.

Tsitsipas d. Lajovic in 2: This is Tsitsipas' fave time of the year.

I'm back, again!

So, it's been a while. I promise I will try to do more blogs, at least once a week moving forward. I will talk about other sports, but mostly this will be about tennis and especially Marta!

Unfortunately, Marta is out with an injury but she could be back for Madrid at the end of the month. Congrats to BB -Belinda Bencic for winning Charleston! I had Ons winning it and I am now 11-27 at picking tourney winners this year. Opelka won Houston, Goffin (who suddenly is playing OK again) won Marrakech and Maria won Bogota.

This week there is just Monte Carlo with the return of Nole! He could play my other favorite Carlos Alcaraz in the quarters and that would be a mouth-watering clash! I have Nole winning the whole thing, we will see.

The Billie Jean King Cup is also being played with Ukraine playing the U.S. Go Ukraine, even though Marta won't play. DY and Co. can still take it!

In other sports, congrats to my Boston Celtics for getting the 2 seed in the East in the NBA playoffs, bring on Brooklyn. We ain't scared!

Also congrats to Scottie Scheffler for winning the Masters, but what we really care about is Tiger came back and played! It was so great watching him again after everything he's been through.

It was also great having MLB back and the Yankees are off to a 2-1 start!

Going back to tennis, it's clear that Iga is dominating the game and that is awesome to see. I still hope Marta can keep improving and become big rivals with her like they did in the juniors. Women's tennis is going to be exciting to watch for years to come. Men's tennis is also in good hands as Carlos has shown that he is going to be the man!

Until next time - peace!
