That was a pretty good day of semifinals and finals in D.C.
I have to admit I was only there for the women's semis (both of which were decent matches). I did get to watch Nick Kyrgios and Stefanos Tsitsipas from my hotel in what was the match of the tourney! Of course it was great to see Coco Gauff and Caty McNally win the women's doubles title!
I am now ready for an exciting day of finals tomorrow. Day 9 should be the best day yet!
First up will be Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau against Raven Klassen and Michael Venus in the men's doubles final. I'm going with Rojer and Tecau in this one.
Then it will be the women's final between Camila Giorgi and Jessica Pegula. I'm taking Giorgi in that.
To cap the tourney off it will be the men's final between Nick and Daniil Medvedev. That should be a great battle, which hopefully Nick will win!
I probably won't post a blog on the finals until Monday or so. But it's been a great week and a great tourney. The best time I've had in D.C.!
Let's end this in grand style with three great matches!
